Oh my god! "Not good"? That seems like an understatement of epic proportion. Fortunately, I don't drink soda and have always found artificial sweeteners to just taste yucky. It appears that distaste may be saving my life. The woman who ran this experiment is a hero. Now, since the FDA surely isn't spreading this report, it's up to everyone who reads this to spread the word and save their friends and family.

Scary stuff. I have not been drinking diet soda or anything with artificial sweetener since high school, over 20 years ago, when I first heard this stuff causes cancer. Amazing it is still legal.

Aspartame is a no no ... try natural sweeteners like agave or stevia instead.

I've never been confident in the FDA's findings, especially with their ties to corporations whose products are being tested. Pretty scary info.
