I heard an amazing statistic about how much more water it takes to produce a pound of beef vs. fish or even chicken. I think the growth hormones are the scariest aspect -- haven't had beef in many years, even organic because it takes so many resources to produce. How do people feel about the pressure of population growth upon natural habitats of wild animals when its a very poor country that depends upon cattle and crops to live? Tough issue.
