Old clothes, new life... turn your bridesmaid's dresses into home decor
Too often we forget that there's a trio of actions we can take to remove less from the environment. It's REDUCE, REUSE, and RECYCLE. Reusing things is one of the harder parts of being a good eco-citizen in our consumerist culture where everything new is valued and everything you want is accessible. I love the idea of sprucing up my living room with the beautiful fabrics sacrificed for ugly, wear-once dresses... can't wait to see what my sister-in-law-to-be chooses for my next throw pillows!
