Rebuilding Together, Long Island

Volunteers perform the vast majority of the work we do and come from local companies, churches, synagogues, schools, other organizations, as well as retirees. In the last 15 years, RTLI has provided repairs to over 1400 low income homeowners at a pace of about 100 projects annually within Nassau and Suffolk Counties and has built over 100 wheelchair ramps. Skilled tradespersons also donate their time or skills and on occasion at reduced fees to assist us when the work may be too difficult for our volunteers.
