• Wounded Warrior Outreach Program
  Members of the military desperately need a voice, and Veterans for America’s Wounded Warrior Outreach Program provides it.. We believe that real solutions require the involvement of many parties. Our Wounded Warrior Outreach Program brings together servicemembers, military medical professionals, former government employees, and former members of the media. This critical combination of expertise allows us to draft and promote legislation, suggest and critique policy, advocate on behalf of individual servicemembers, and educate various audiences.

  Veterans experiencing the symptoms of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) often request several types of assistance, as do their families. As a research and education organization, the National Center for PTSD cannot provide this assistance, but we can refer you to the people who can provide assistance. Link to contact a veterans service officer who can explain how to file an appeal and who can help gather the information necessary to make a successful appeal is provided on this site. Be sure to contact a Service Officer who has extensive experience in helping veterans file and appeal claims specifically for PTSD.
